A long-time resident of Bridgeville area, Michael Brune passed away on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at Mercy Hosptial, at the age of 63. Michael was born in Pittsburgh on November 4, 1960, to the late Thelma (Hofrichter) and Michael C. Brune. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Michael had no siblings. He is survived by his loving twin daughters Emily and Sarah Brune along with many cousins. Michael worked as a package handler and forklift operator for the FEDEX corporation for 25 years. Known to enjoy a puff or two, Michael enjoyed socializing with his friends at Bridgeville Italian club, enjoyed a ride on his Harley Davidson in Avella, or was out scrapping metal. Michael was also known to enjoy a concert or two. He was the most loyal and helpful man and always willing to defend a person in need. We are so grateful for the laughs and times we spent together as friends and family of Michael's. We even smile as we remember his occasional stubborn streak. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospital for their loving care.
