Obituary of Claudine P. (Cole) Quarture

Age 76, of North Strabane Twp., passed away at home, on February 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 10, 1947, in Pittsburgh. A daughter of the late Clyde and Elmira O’Brien Cole. Claudine took great pride in being a mom and grandmother. She was very active in all her children’s sports and activities growing up. From a cheer coach to being an officer for the Canon – McMillan Wrestling Boosters. She loved vacationing at the beach with her family and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. She enjoyed shopping trips to the mall, as well as an occasional visit to the Meadows Casino. Above all, her family was always her first priority. Surviving is her husband, Pete Quarture, three children, Jason (Dana) Tarap, Shane (Kristen) Tarap and Denine Cyrilla, six grandchildren, Mitchell (Pam) Tarap, Cole Cyrilla, Lindsay Mull, Noah Mull, Courtney Cyrilla and Joseph Cyrilla. Deceased is a brother, Jack Cole. She will be sadly missed by her furry friends, Macey, Cooper, Caesar, and Rooney. Friends received Friday, March 1, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a funeral service will be held Saturday, March 2, at 12 noon, with Rev. Jack Yedlicka officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
