Obituary of John A. Liberatore

Age 80, of Bridgeville, on January 16, 2024. Cherished son of the late Peter and Elvira Liberatore; loving brother of Joseph (Barbara) Liberatore; proud uncle of Cyndi (Michael) Anicetti, Joseph (Michelle) Liberatore, Jr., Narin (Amanda) Liberatore, and Peter (Joanna) Liberatore; 3 great nieces, 5 great nephews, and 4 great-great nephews. A Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. John was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering from MIT. He was a member of the Audubon Society and the Bridgeville Italian Club. John had a love for music, bird watching, and reading. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, who will be dearly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
