Obituary of Lauson S. Hafer

Lauson S. Hafer, beloved husband of Darlene Hafer, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 9th surrounded by his family in Bradenton, Florida. He was the proud father of Paul and Jennett Hafer and brother of Sue Graham. Stepfather to Dan Gusic and Alena (Dave) Delio. Uncle to Andy (Amy) Graham, Luke (Kathie) Graham, and Bethany Hafer. He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy (Flynn) and Charles A. Hafer Jr., his brother Charles A. Hafer III, and his niece Holly Graham. He will also be dearly missed by many extended family members and friends. Lauson was a proud graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and Iowa University. He was an avid golfer and bourbon connoisseur. He was also the proud owner of a family-owned business for 50 years which was passed down for generations. Friends will be received at Warchol Funeral Home, 3060 Washington Pike. Bridgeville, PA 15017, on Friday, December 15th from 2– 4pm and 6 – 8pm. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or American Lung Association.
