With love and great sadness we share the sudden passing of Debra J. Barzanty, 60, on Friday, November 17, 2023. Debra was born on February 8, 1963 to Robert A. and the late Mary O’Toole Morris at U.S. Army Hospital, Fort Ord, California. After graduating from Carlynton High School in 1981, she went on to Connelley Technical Institute earning her LPN degree. Debra worked in the medical field at several Pittsburgh nursing facilities, with the most recent at Genesis Bethel Park Rehab and Nursing.

A resident of Bridgeville and parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish, St. Barbara’s Church, Debra enjoyed playing Bingo, baking desserts for the Bridgeville Fire Department Fish Frys and most of all, doing crafts with her sister Karen at Michael’s.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Jonathan R. (fiance Samatha Lee); her father, Robert A. Morris (Sandra); sisters, Linda and Karen Morris; mother in law, Dolores Barzanty; sister in law, Mary Ann Kims, along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by Paul L., her husband of 25 years; mother, Mary Morris; brother, Robert J. Morris; a sister, Kathleen Morris Harper; father in law, Richard G. Barzanty and brother in law, Donald L. Kims.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Corpus Christi Parish, St. Barbara’s Church, 45 Prestley Road, Bridgeville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetic Association, Washington County Humane Society or a charity of one’s choice.
