Obituary of Roberta "Bobbie" Jean Sasfai

Sasfai Roberta “Bobbie” Jean (Sparkenbaugh) Age 87, of South Fayette Twp, passed away on November 27, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Louis E. Sasfai for 56 years, loving motherof Jeffrey Sasfai, Jodi (Ken) Flack and Douglas (Beth) Sasfai, proud grandmother of Jacob, Emily and Olivia Sasfai, sister of Gayle (Charles) Mugger and Karen (Dennis) Stefanik, also many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sasfai enjoyed working as a cook for South Fayette School District for many years, retiring in 1998. She was a lifetime member of Noblestown United Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and treasurer. She was also a member of Oakridge V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary, South Fayette Band Parents Association and PTA. Bobbie was a diehard Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Above all, she loved and adored her grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 3, from 3 to 7 pm at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, at 10 am. Interment to follow at Robinson Run Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Noblestown Presbyterian Church, 7427 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale, PA 15071.
