He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emelia Sienicki and eleven brothers and sisters: Walter, Ted, Joseph, Stanley, Leo and John, Anna Siepiela, Mary Mazur, Jane Popivchak, Stephanie (Dolly) Hanke, and Lottie (Sissy) Sienicki. Born and raised in Carnegie in a large loving family, he graduated from Carnegie High School. As a teenager, he delivered newspapers and fondly remembered Honus Wagner as one of his customers. He worked for SP Kinney Engineering prior to enlisting in the Army. He attended Waynesburg College and upon graduation was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy, a Naval Aviator. His naval tours were many including a Hurricane Hunter, a pilot instructor, and a tour in Vietnam where he earned Bronze Star (with valor in combat). He earned a degree in accounting and an MBA from University of West Florida. Upon retirement he continued his public service as an Auditor for the State of Florida and eventually retired to enjoy his family in Bridgeville. He loved gardening, listening to classical music and especially loved his family in whom he instilled a love of the church and of learning.
