Dear Katherine and family, George and I were like brothers, when we were stationed in Germany. We were room mates and discovered our commonalities. We were born on the same month, same day, same year, and we were both from Pennsylvania, serving I Germany. Also, there are six letters in his first name and ten letters in his surname. Same as mine. Also, his middle name started with an "R" same as mine. For so many years, we would convene, giving thanks and sharing stories of our families. I will certainly miss George. My deepest condolences to you Kathy and family. Whenever I saw you both at functions, was always nice chatting with George. Sad to hear of his passing. Wish something could have been done. Prayers for healing hearts to you and all those whose lives were blessed to have known him.
