Obituary of Helen U. Colussy

Age 83, of Hickory, formerly of Bridgeville, on October 14, 2023. Beloved wife of Ernest A. Colussy for 62 years; loving mother of Ernest (the late Joanna) Colussy III and Frank (Lisa) Colussy; cherished grandmother of Matthew (Hanna) Colussy and Joshua (Alexandra) Colussy; great grandmother of Weston, Morgan, Zander, and Oliver; sister-in-law of Alfred (Myrta) Colussy and the late Armella Dozzo. Helen was employed for 40 years with Mellon Bank. She was a member of the SNPJ and enjoyed farming, camping, and dancing to polka music. She loved to travel, especially to visit her relatives back in Slovenia. Family and friends received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Mary Church of Corpus Christi Parish. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Helen’s name to the charity of your choice.
