Obituary of Theresa (Hofrichter) Delphus

Age 98, of Bridgeville, on September 10, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert Matthew Delphus; loving mother of Jerry (Ann) Delphus, Judi (Michael) Meyers, Janet (Tim) Redman; preceded in death by her parents Thomas A. and Rose (Smith) Hofrichter, and 7 siblings; surviving are siblings Jean Graeser, Bill Hofrichter, and Joan Hurst; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Casey) Neubold, Matthew (Lisa) Meyers, Patrick (Kim) Redman, Matthew (Angela) Delphus, Colin (Laura) Redman, Courtney (Jeff) Bird, and Megan (Wade) Conceicao; great grandmother of 16; also many nieces and nephews. Theresa was an avid golfer and a member of the Christian Mothers and the Catholic Daughters of America. Theresa was a loving and caring person; she volunteered with Meals on Wheels and baked for everyone well into her 90s. Family and friends received on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southwest Meals on Wheels.
