Age 96, of South Fayette Township, passed away on August 19, 2023. Born September 10, 1926, she was the only daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine Bombassaro. Beloved wife for 45 years of the late Lawrence John Rosi. Loving mother of Judy (Anthony) Briselli, Denise (Keith) Graham, Lawrence Jr. (Terri Kuhn) Rosi. Grandmother of Tony (Janice Beck) Briselli, Shelly Ann (George) Kurko, Andrew Graham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased her brother Peter, Richard and James. Catherine enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, crafting, and building puzzles. She was skilled in many areas and would successfully tackle projects unfamiliar to her such as upholstery. For decades of summers Catherine could be found greeting customers at Jenny’s farm market. After her husband’s death she worked seasonally at H&R Block and was the Recording Secretary of the South Fayette Area Senior Citizens Association for several years. Friends received Sunday, August 27, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 am.
