To Alan and the entire Palguta family, while we never met Virginia, she seemed to be a very loving and accomplished person. You are in our thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. with deepest sympathies - The DePaolo family (PNC).

You all are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Sending warm healing hugs.
Through the strongest of storms or the softest breeze, listen to the wind and think of me.
I’m in the creaking of the trees, the breaking twigs and falling leaves.
I’m in the fresh dew upon a thirsty tomorrow.
I’m through the prism of a tear, trickling down in sorrow.
I’m in all God’s creations, in all you hold dear.
Just north of the clouds, for I am near.
“Weathered Raindrop”
With our deepest sympathy,
Ron, Lynn, Tyler, Karissa, Kirsten, Joel. Chabalie

She wrote poems, and I was so touched that my Grandma Morelli had kept a poem that Aunt Vir wrote for her. She read a poem at my dad’s 75th birthday party, and some of the poems she wrote for my dad were read at his funeral. Aunt Vir kept in touch with many extended family members, and she has a great knowledge of our family history. I would visit Aunt Vir when my kids were little, and my daughters still remember the wooden cake and the little dinosaurs and other fun toys she had downstairs. In recent years, when I called to say I was in Pittsburgh and stopping in, she’d ask about all my family, and we’d have a great and wonderful time together. We were both Virginia Capone.

Aunt Vir has always been a very important and special person in my life. She was my dad’s sister, and I was named after her. That was our first connection — we were both Virginia Capone. Aunt Vir was a school teacher, and I became a teacher, too. It was wonderful to share teaching stories. It was fun to make her laugh. She had the best laugh — and used to cover her mouth like she felt guilty for enjoying herself so much.
