Obituary of Elizabeth E. (Dunich) Bushmire

Age 88, of South Fayette, on May 30, 2023. Daughter of the late Paul and Anna Dunich of Bridgeville; mother of Rosann Bushmire, Gary (Kathy) Bushmire, Donna (Bob) Slaney, Linda (Tom) Thomas, and Alan (Tammie) Bushmire; preceded in death by her five siblings Catherine Petrich, Paul Dunich, Lena Dunich, Josephine Dubrosky, and Virginia “Gini” Merchant; grandmother of Nicholas Carson, Ryan Slaney, Jonathan Bushmire, Daniel Slaney, Brandon Bushmire, and Jamie Thomas, and great grandmother of Avery and Ella Carson and Alaina and Jackson Bushmire. Betty was a dietician and cafeteria employee at South Fayette School District for over 25 years. She loved to care for her home and her yard, and her favorite thing in life was dancing. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Kane Hospital and Gallagher Hospice for their exceptional care. Family and friends received on Monday from 10 AM until 12 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a service will immediately follow at 12 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
