Obituary of Jerilyn (Villani) Vitelli

Jerilyn Vitelli (Villani) 82, passed away peacefully in the early hours of March 4th, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Aldo “Buck” and Lillian Villani, and her best friend and brother Ted (Carol) Villani. She is survived by her loving children, Tracey (Andy) Valko and Ted (Christine) Vitelli, her grandchildren, Cole and Mitch Valko and Maura Vitelli, her niece Ami (Dave) Egan and their daughters Alexandra and Elizabeth Egan. Jerilyn, known as “Gigi” to those closest with her, lived a full and happy life dedicated to family. Always selfless, nothing filled her heart with joy and fulfillment more than spending time with, raising, and mentoring her grandchildren, as they grew into the accomplished young adults they are today. She loved to read, sometimes more than a book a week, and was an enormous fan of sports, never missing a chance to cheer on her son or grandchildren throughout the years. She will be forever kept in memory and missed dearly. Per Gigi’s wishes, there will be a private burial with no viewing or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charitable foundation in her memory.
