To the Vosel family: i grew up on Bank Street, right next to Dan, Dave, Mike, Thelma, and Nancy. Such great neighbors to grow up to next door. My memory goes back to Dan’s days at Char Valley, when he was a student trainer. He got a little crazy one winter, attacked the hill next to our yard, but it was a bit too icy one day, and it damn near cost him his life then. His sled crossed Laurel Street, below our houses, and he ended up underneath a car on McLaughlin Run Road. He suffered a skull fracture, among other injuries, but he recuperated quicker than anyone probably thought he would!! He resumed his trainer duties, graduated from CV, and went on to go to school for physical therapy, and ultimately chiropractic medicine. Another Vosel family member I missed his passing, Dan’s cousin Bill, former head football coach at Canon-McMillan High School, passed on a few years ago. Always buddies with Coach Bill, it really shocked me to have missed his passing. Dave Warchol, my fellow CM alum, handling two Vosels, wow.
Anyway, to the surviving siblings, my heartfelt condolences. Learned a lot from Dan in my first 15 years on Earth. RIP Dan

To the Vosel Family:
Dan was a truly gifted chiropractor and wonderful man. I was always entertained by our lively discussions and appreciated his sense of duty to his patients. I’ll miss his stories, laughter, and genuine care. I’m so sorry I was out of town for the funeral, but you all have my deepest sympathies.

Dr. Vosel was the kind of chiropractor who truly cared about his patients, the art of chiropractic care, and good nutrition. He had the healing touch, and wasn’t satisfied until he was sure his patients were feeling better. He offered straightforward care without fancy and unnecessary treatments, and tried to keep his services affordable. Thank you, Dr. Vosel!
