Obituary of Tammi Mae (Fleet) Sinegal
Tammi Mae Sinegal ended her lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis peacefully on her own terms as the sun rose on November 24, surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jim Sinegal, her parents Tom and Esther Fleet, her sister Katie (Andrew) Shipp, her nephew and niece Theodore and Emerson Shipp, her mother-in-law Abbey Sinegal, her sister-in-law Nancy (Homan) Kashef Bazzazi, and her dogs Pippi and Olive. Tammi worked as an income development representative for the American Cancer Society in Chicago and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Pittsburgh. She loved traveling the world, spending time outdoors, creative pursuits like knitting and baking, and playing with Theodore and Emmie. Tammi was extremely grateful for the medical research that extended her life, and her three organ transplants. She requests that donations in her memory be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania or the Center for Organ Recovery and Education. A celebration of Tammi’s life will be held on Sunday, December 11th from 12-5 PM at the Mayernick Center, 498 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
