Obituary of Elizabeth (Leverotti) Chambon

Chambon Elizabeth “Betty” (Leverotti) Age 93 of South Fayette on August 26, 2022. Devoted wife of the late Kenneth Chambon for 55 years, loving mother of Ken (Mary) Chambon and Susan Chambon, cherished grandmother of Kenneth (Eve) Chambon and Kerry (Tony) Ciotti and Great Grandmother of Carmella, Kenny, Evelyn, Lillian, Matteo and Anna Maria. Betty worked at Kaufmann’s where she was a model and worked in the Credit Department. She belonged to the Bridgeville Woman’s Club where she served as President. Betty was known for her grace, style, and bubbly personality. She used these attributes while entertaining at her home and serving her famous Italian meals. Betty’s backyard barbecues were fun-filled events, often held with one hour’s notice. In 1979, her husband suffered a stroke, but Betty pleasantly persevered while serving as his caregiver for 26 years. Friends and family were blessed to have Betty in their lives. Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
