Obituary of Donald J. Rubel

Rubel Donald J. Age 72, of Gladden, on July 24, 2022. Beloved husband of Judy (Coghill) Rubel, loving father of Michael (Kearstin) Rubel and Kathryn (Corey) Klug, devoted “Grampy” of Briley, Braxton and Amelia Rubel and R.J. Klug, who is on the way, son of the late Walter and Sophia (Tropeck) Rubel, brother of James Rubel and Gary (Patti) Rubel, also many nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. A Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Don was a friend to many and would strike up a conversation to anyone that he would meet. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends received Wednesday, 6-8 pm, and Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 10 am, at St. Mary Church of Corpus Christi Parish, Cecil (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). In lieu of flowers, memorials to Corpus Christi Parish or Little Sisters of the Poor.
