Obituary of Ruth E. Rostron

Rostron Ruth E. (Bedner) Age 94, of Upper St. Clair, on July 18, 2022. Beloved wife of Richard E. Rostron, loving mother of Nancy Bianchin and David Rostron, cherished grandmother of Matthew and Bryan Bianchin and Josh Rostron, daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Oelschlager) Bedner, sister of the late Arthur (Henrietta) Bedner, Robert (Anna Rose) Bedner and Russell (Jean) Bedner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church, McMurray. Ruth ran Bedner’s Farm Market in Upper St. Clair for many years and worked on the farm until the age of 93. She was the last of the Bedner family that started the farm market. Friends received Friday, 5-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday.
