Brilliant and kind, in equal measure. I had the privilege to get to know Mike during our work together at Mobiquity. It should be known that the citizens of an entire country in Latin America benefited during the global pandemic because of Mike's kindness, and commitment to brilliance in his technology leadership for one of his clients. The positive impact he had on so many lives in so many ways is hard to imagine, and will be remembered.

Mike and I worked at Backbase together as Solution Architects. He was one of the first people I met when I joined because he reached out to me to welcome me to the company. He wanted to make sure I had what I needed. He was such a happy and friendly person and was always willing to help people. Mike was very talented and highly respected and will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

Not four years but a lifetime, brother. You were a great person and this world is darker without you in it. I enjoyed the brief time we worked together, and will not forget you. -FL Epsilon Lambda

Mike was a gem who was taken away too soon from this world. He always had a smile on his face. He was ready to help when needed and created good friendships and memories here at Backbase. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

I have been wanting to share a memory of Mike but have been struggling to find the right words. I met Mike during his teenage years when he, his Mom (Sharon), Dad (Karl) & brother (Matt) started worshipping at Carnegie United Methodist Church. Sharon & I became close friends & that gave me the opportunity to watch Mike & Matt grow up and become wonderful men. They are both so kind and respectful. They have successful careers & met the loves of their lives (Mike with his fiance, Maria, & Matt with his wife, Kelli). When I think of Mike, I think of his big smile which lit up a room, his boisterous personality and his joy. He had a love of life and so many great friends. I never knew of anyone that was in more weddings than Mike. That's because he was so loved. Mike & Maria loved to travel, went on so many vacations and had great times. In his young lifetime Mike lived life to the fullest. I am very thankful that Mike is no longer dealing with pancreatitis and in Heaven with lots of cherished loved ones. My family and I want to express our deepest sympathies to Maria & all of Mike's family. Mike was very loved and will be greatly missed.

I knew Mike through his mom, Sharon. She shared pictures and stories of his life with me. I will always remember him as being full of love for his family and his fiancee and God. He had a beautiful, joyful smile. The light of love just shined out of his face! I am so thankful that he came to know God, and that we will see him at the return. God bless to all of his family and friends!!

Mike and I worked at YellowPepper together. I had the opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with him and learn a lot from such great professional. I remember his obstinacy to stand on his ideas no matter what, always smiling, of course, but making his point no matter what. The few opportunities we had to hang out were always fun because of him. I'm thankful to have meet such great human and a great friend.

Mike and I worked at YellowPepper together, starting out as senior software developers within days of each other. I remember Mike used to put on these black square reading glasses randomly at work, like before meetings or when he had a complex task to do. One day I asked him to let me borrow them and noticed that they didn’t have any prescription, to which Mike explained that he only wore them when he knew he had to focus at work. I think that separation of Mike from the party, ukulele-playing, beach-loving, groove-cruise shuffling, fun guy to the Software developer/architect, I know my stuff, smarter than everyone in the room, let’s get down to business professional, with just the wearing of glasses sums it up for me. Mike helped Yellowpepper become what it is today, and also helped me grow and learn as we worked side by side. I owe a lot to Mike and am very thankful for the experiences we had together.
