Obituary of Joseph S. Farkas

Farkas Joseph S. Age 90, of South Fayette Twp., on July 27, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Louise Farkas, loving father of Louise (the late John) Descutner and Joseph T. (Janet) Farkas Sr., grandfather of Joy Descutner and her fiancé John Borchert, Joseph T. Farkas Jr. and Jason Farkas, brother of Mary Jane Creighton, Louis Berceli, George Berceli and the late John Farkas, Frank and Charles Berceli and Ann Torre. A decorated veteran of WW II, serving in the U.S.M.C., 4th Division. Mr. Farkas fought in the Pacific Theater, including; Iwo Jima, Saipan and Tinian invasions. He was a member of the Cuddy V.F.W., Post #586 and the South Fayette Senior Citizens.
