Obituary of Helen (Kruluts) Powell

Powell Helen “Toots” (Kruluts) In her 98th year, of Collier Twp., passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022. Beloved daughter of Croatian immigrants, the late Barbara and Matthew Kruluts. Wife of the late John Powell. Mother of Judith (Kenneth) Kirkpatrick, Joan Powell and the late John Powell. Predeceased by her siblings, Anna, Nicholas, Michael, Andrew, Mary Kisic, Frank “Longy”, Joseph “Buck”, Matthew, Kathryn “Honey” Remaly, John and Emil “Ace”. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen never missed her daily dose of Jeopardy! She always enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. Family and friends received Thursday, 11:30-12:30 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 1 pm, at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgeville Area Food Bank.
