Obituary of George Dennis Brandt

Age 71, of McDonald, on February 24, 2022. Born July 20, 1950, in Warsaw, VA, son of the late Roy and Katherine (Van Landingham) Brandt. George was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Brandt, they married on Valentine’s Day in 2003. Cherished father of Daniel Brandt, Chad Brandt, Bryan (Rachel) Zaharko, Jessica (Dan) Schoedel, Maria Rizzo and Christopher Forcucci; grandfather of Kiara, Weston and Abby Zaharko, and Isaac Schoedel; brother of Wayne Brandt, Steven (Kathy) Brandt, and Robin (Mark) Slkar. Also many nieces and nephews. George was an avid hunter, fisherman and Nascar fan. Family and friends received on Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment and military honors to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
