Obituary of Armando Gino Ferri

Ferri Armando ("Mondo", "Babe") Gino Age 74, of South Fayette Twp., on February 13, 2022. Beloved husband of Cheryl Ann (Dombrosky) Ferri, devoted father of Jason Eric (Theresa) Ferri and Heather Ann Ferri, loving grandfather of Alexandra and Victoria Ferri, brother of Helen Marie Mallin and Clement (Joyce) Ferri, also many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Armando and Helen (Santoni) Ferri. Mondo graduated from Chartiers Valley where he excelled at football and boxed as a youth. He was honored to be a part of the family contracting business that was started by his father, Ferri Contracting Company and later worked with Alex E. Paris Contracting. He enjoyed people and had a multitude of friends; his breakfast group, “Oldies” dance friends, old high school buddies, and just about anyone he could strike up a conversation with. Mondo was a member of the Canonsburg Elks and Pittsburgh C.A.R.S. Mondo had a big heart that he generously shared with family and friends. He was quick to lend a helping hand for anyone in need. He loved playing any kind of cards, dancing, and making people laugh. Friends received Wednesday, 2-4 and 5-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10 am, at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
