Obituary of Anne M. (Erdeljac) Perella

Age 90, of South Fayette, on December 16, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Perella; loving mother of Robert (Sharon) Perella, Jr., Anne Perella and the late Laura Perella; sister of the late Fr. Frank Erdeljac, Joseph Erdlejac, and Frances Haskins. Spreading joy and the good news of the Lord was Anne’s focus! She taught CCD for over 30 years, then RCIA, and was an active member of the Pittsburgh Cursillo Apostolic movement. Helping people to understand the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist was important to her, as was her devotion to St. Pio. Over the years, Anne acted as a caregiver, mentor, and spiritual advisor to many family members and friends. Anne was blessed with a green thumb, an enormous culinary repertoire, and had a knack for puzzles of all kinds. Always putting others first was the secret behind her long life. Family and friends received on Tuesday, December 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 22, at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Memorials may be made to People Concerned for the Unborn Child.
