We were so saddened to learn of John's passing. We knew John as "John the barber" at Vanadium Woods Village. John had a big heart and a big sense of humor. It was a pleasure and honor to get to know him. John made the places he was better just by being there. He was a positive influence to all. We will miss this man. The world needs more like him. My Uncle John was a beautiful man, inside and out. I was the pesky only-child cousin who was always at the Magliocca house on weekends to play with Val, Cindy and Johnny. Uncle John always made me feel welcome, even when I'm sure he wished I'd finally go home. There was always a place for me at the dinner table with a delicious plate of spaghetti and homemade sauce. He'd ask me how I was, tease me about eating too much or growing too fast or my shorts being too short -- but always good-natured. My time with Uncle John and Aunt Helen and the warm and loving family they created helped to form me and gave me an early sense of what a good family could be. Rest easy, Uncle John. You earned a good life, a good death and a good forever after.
