John D. Magliocca Obituary

Age 99, of Bridgeville, died from complications of a breakthrough Covid-19 infection on October 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Helen L. (Deep) Magliocca; loving father of Cynthia (Daniel) Capanna, John R. (Debbie) Magliocca and Valerie (George) Watzlaf; brother of the late Anita Dorman, Frank Magliocca, Santo Magliocca, James Magliocca and baby girl Ellen Marie Magliocca; cherished grandfather of Lyndsay (Craig) Molinaro, Alaina Capanna, Eric Magliocca, Evan (Kelsey) Magliocca, Kara (Nate) Blandino, Natalia Watzlaf and Richie Watzlaf; great grandfather of Ryan and Lila Molinaro. John served proudly with the U.S. Army during WWII, in the D-Day Invasion. He was an avid golfer and scored 3 holes in one. Family and friends received on Monday from 3-6 PM, with a Trisagion Service following at 6 PM, at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Bridgeville. Memorials may be made to St. George Church Building Fund.
