Obituary of Elizabeth Ann (Puckett) Valente

Age 79, of Southpointe, Cecil Twp., on August 26, 2021. Born February 24, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio; daughter of the late Warren and Irene (Lowe) Puckett. Beloved wife of Lou Valente; loving mother of Dana (Mark Cohen) Parmelee, Todd (Kim) Matthews, Kelly (Chris) Nemec and Lisa Valente; cherished grandmother of Maxwell, Matthew, Michelle and Melissa Parmelee, Stephen Cohen, Andrew, Jacob and Emily Longwill, Ryan (Kylie) Matthews, Emerson Nemec and Jonathan (Alicia) Musheno; great grandmother of Madison and Benjamin Musheno; sister of the late Raymond and David Puckett. Betty was a devoted member of St. Mary Church. She was a former member of Southpointe Golf Club and an avid golfer. She loved animals and fed the squirrels every day. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM at St. Mary Church of Corpus Christi Parish, Cecil, with the Rev. Dennis Yurochko, as celebrant. Everyone please meet at church. Private interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp. In lieu of flowers, dedicate a Mass for Betty (corpuschristipgh.org), or donate to Corpus Christi Parish or the charity of your choice.
