Obituary of Donald J. Winkowski

Age 68, of South Fayette, on August 12, 2021. Beloved husband of Sandy (Amodeo) Winkowski; loving father of Christi (Brian) Homer and Stacy (Josh) Tanase; proud Pap Pap of Morgan, Delaney and Brooklyn Homer and Sienna and Easton Tanase; brother of Vivian (Ed) Lee, Paulette (Jack) Pohlmeyer, Dean (Sandi) Winkowski, and the late Denny Winkowski; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Donald was an avid hunter and Pittsburgh sports fan. He was the life of every party and befriended everyone that he met. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the simple things in life. His perfect day was sitting in his back yard, listening to music, and being surrounded by his family. Family and friends received on Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
