Obituary of Elmer Villani

Elmer Villani Elmer Villani of Bridgeville, PA died peacefully at the age of 89 on June 27, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Antenore and Amelia (Mamula) Villani; beloved husband of Joann (Russo) Villani; loving father of Annamarie Villani, Debbie (Tom) Rotthoff, Ron (Marie) Villani, and the late Howard (Rita) Villani; cherished grandfather of Vito (Lisa), Nena, Isabella (Justin), Anna, and Maria (Jake); special great-grandfather of Luca, Nico, and Amelia; brother of the late Richard "Biff" Villani and the late Leonard "Mac" Villani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elmer was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War, retired employee of the Port Authority of Allegheny County where he won an award for 30 years with no accidents, and former owner of Villani's Flower Shop and Villani's Bar and Grill in Bridgeville. He played football at the University of Pittsburgh and in the US Army. His passions were family, food, and Golf. He cherished his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 17, 10 am, at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish, Bridgeville (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment immediately following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Following the burial, there will be a Celebration of his Life at the Hickory Heights Golf Club in South Fayette.
