Obituary of Sylvester John Haid

Age 69, of Bridgeville, on June 8, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of Mary Jane (McCloskey) Haid and the late Sylvester John Haid, Sr., devoted brother of Diane (Norman) Kilbert, Judith (Kevin) Conley and Sharon (Michael) Benedik, also many loving nieces and nephews, loving companion of Claudia Maioli. A 32nd Degree Mason, Perry Ionic Lodge #796 F&AM. Owner of several businesses, in which he owned and operated an excavating business and Sylvester’s Restaurant and Bar. He was retired from the Port Authority of Pittsburgh, as a bus driver. He will be forever loved and remembered by his family and friends. He loved life and lived well. Friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 pm.
