John, I looked up to you, like a bigger brother away from home. Enjoyed working on all the K OF C PROJECTS, LIKE THE SPELLING BEES, Road clean up, Auctions, The Men's Club activities. I am heading up to Holy Spirit this morning, the 11; 00 a.m. k OF C Mass, will burn a candle for you and offer up Mass and my First Live Mass and Communion for you. Bob & Joan.

John was a "Brother Knight" at Holy Spirit and our Cantor at Mass, for many years. He always displayed good humor and a beautiful smile. He was most kind to everyone and spoke with the musical voice of an Angel. So sorry, that John and Barbara have left us.

John was the very first person who welcomed me to the Church of the Holy Spirit here in Highland, Michigan when I bought my house in the area. He was very personable and even got me to transfer my Knights of Columbus membership to our church. John was a great guy and a very gifted lector. I lector, and marveled at the deep resonance and power of his readings at Mass. John was a great guy and will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace, John. You are now wrapped in the loving arms of Our Savior.
