Obituary of William R. Bishop, Jr.

Age 71, of Upper St. Clair, on February 23, 2021. Former husband of Patricia Flaherty; loving father of William R. (Susan) Bishop III, Bryan J. (Lisa) Bishop and Mallory (John) Pazehoski; cherished grandfather of William August, John Patrick, Samuel James, Ian James and Charlotte Elizabeth Bishop, and Ella May and Asher James Pazehoski; beloved brother of George Bishop, Thomas Bishop, Daniel (Kathy) Bishop, John Paul Bishop, James (Joanie) Bishop, Robert (Nancy) Bishop, Judy Ann Bishop and Mary Ann Arseth. Bill was a longtime and devoted member of St. Thomas More Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was active in St. Vincent de Paul Society and Emmaus Society. Bill was a partner with the Sherrard, German and Kelly Law Firm, and later went on to open his own practice in Bethel Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church of Resurrection Parish. Everyone please meet at church. A Memorial Mass and luncheon will be held at a future date once COVID restrictions have been lifted.
