Obituary of Fred M Valentino, Sr.

Age 86, of Bridgeville, on December 20, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Dolores Valentino for 43 years; loving father of Fred M. (Sheryl) Valentino, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Vanessa (Justin) Geary, Dena (Chris) Valentino and Natalie (Jeremy) Valentino; great grandfather of Luca, Vito, Roman and Lietta; dear brother of Lietta Danilo; preceded in death by his parents Gaetano and Theresa (Consentino) Valentino and 7 siblings, Joseph Valentino, Mary Franjione, Angelo Valentino, Rosina Bushmire, Angelina Kirkpatrick, Yolanda Pizzutti and Felicia Tabarella; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Fred was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Navy and was a proud first-generation Italian American. He was a member of the Bridgeville American Legion and a Blue Lodge Mason. He loved to fish, garden, visit the casino and spend time with his granddaughters and great grandchildren. All services are private. Arrangements entrusted to the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
