Obituary of Kathleen A. (Sonefelt) Fraundorfer

Age 70, a current resident of Country Meadows, Bridgeville, formerly of Altoona, passed away on November 15, 2020, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born in Darby, PA , daughter of Mary (Fochler) Sonefelt and the late Donald Sonefelt. On May 11, 1974 she married Joseph R. Fraundorfer in Altoona; he preceded her in death on December 21, 2009. She is survived by her mother , her sister Jane Wilson, her son Michael (Danielle) of Lewes, DE, daughter Jill (Tony) Sodini of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Layla, Alyssa, Noelle, Troy; and many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill, PA, and St. Francis University in Loretto. She retired in 2014 after many years as a medical technologist at Women’s Health and Laser Care. Kathleen was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Services are private.
