Jack is my Godfather. I truly adored him. When I was really young, our families vacationed & fished in Lake Erie for weeks. Jack and I would play the card game, Old Maids. I know he let me win. I still have my first jewelry box he gave me when I was 5. It has a dancing ballerina & plays music. May God grant him peace and love. And may God grant peace to the family he leaves behind. My deepest sympathies to each of you.

Jocko always considered me a challenge to himself, as he coached me at Cook School Field. He tried, unsuccessfully, to get me to keep stepping my front (left) foot away from home plate as the pitch approached. I ultimately got just one hit in four years of BAA play, and I think he was up at Little League level with Tim and John, Tim and I were close friends for a while, and adversarial at other times, but kids would be kids!! I’d love to get in contact with Tim, text me 412-973-6627.

Coach Schneider is an influence on me as a person and why I am still coaching today. Winning was fun with Coach. Although teamwork, kindness, and caring was more import to Coach Schneider and his staff. He lead by example for sure. At both of my parents viewings Coach said, “ There’s my catcher!” He also said he was following my team. This meant much to me. I have tears now and am so proud to have played for him! Prayers and blessings to the Family.
