Obituary of Geraldine E. McCready

Geraldine (Gerry) E. Hofrichter McCready Age 89, of Quarryville, PA, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away on October 14, 2020. Beloved wife of the late John S. McCready; loving mother of Dr. Mark (Patti) McCready, David (Amy) McCready and Linda (Mark) Jamison, cherished grandma of Dr. Amelia (Tony) Vangi and Samuel McCready, Kristen Jamison, Ryan (Brooke) and Brent McCready; sister of Ralph and Kenneth (Darlene) and the late Robert (the late Marie) Hofrichter. Gerry was a 1951 graduate of Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing. She was a retired school nurse for Christina School District, Newark, DE., and a member of Newark United Methodist Church. Family and friends received on Friday from 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Memorials may be made to the Bridgeville Historical Society or Newark United Methodist Church.
