I am one of the managers at St. Clair Fitness where Anelita attended. I was terribly saddened to hear of her passing as she was a ray of sunshine here. She was always encouraging, always smiling, always interested in hearing about my family. She worked hard during our workouts and was a huge inspiration to all of us. She wasn't afraid to tell me how much she loved me and how much she loved the gym. The photo was taken the day she came back to the gym after battling illness for several months. We were so happy to have her back! To say she will be missed is an understatement. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to her family.

I was Anilta’s coach at St. Clair Fitness, the gym she faithfully attended 5 days a week. Annie’s passing is such a sad loss to me and to so many whom she befriended over the years at the gym. Annie loved working hard to stay healthy and active. Her trademark humor and sassy spunk made working with Annie so fun and rewarding. She was always on time, actually early, ready to roll and didn’t tolerate disruption in her workout procedures—all admirable qualities. In the years that I had the pleasure of knowing Anilta, we had so many conversations outside the realm of fitness. Her love for her home, landscaping, cooking, but most of all her family were evident. This lovely, generous, fun, kind-hearted, strong lady will be missed. Her memory is a blessing. My heart goes out to her husband and entire family. Cliff Goodrow (Pictured is some of Anilta’s gym gang)

“My heart goes out to both Larry and the family as Anelita was a precious light on earth. The last time I made eye contact with her we openly voiced our mutual love for god. I felt her unconditional love and warmth radiate a peaceful energy to my soul. I will always be in gratitude for that gift from her. I send my love and condolences in this time of grieving to Larry and the family.”

So hard to believe that Anelita is physically gone. However, her lively spirit will remain forever. There is so much to remember from the short time I knew her at Chartiers Valley HS. I connected with Anelita riding on the school bus, playing in the band and in the halls of the school on the hill. She was one of the few people with whom I have felt any friendship. I always looked forward to seeing her and Larry at the reunions. This was one special woman.
Sending my condolences and deepest sympathies to the family on its loss. Hang on to those amazing memories of this gift that you were given. I'm blessed to have known her to the extent that I did. My prayers are with you all. Many blessings!

What often comes into my mind when I think of Anelita, is how she enjoyed and savored the
food, when we went to Italy. She would tellus how she thought it was made.... She was a joy to be around!!!!

Anelita was always so happy and friendly. My husband always asked about her because she made such a great impression on him at the first family reunion he went to as my boyfriend. She was his favorite of all of my relatives. I always have to explain how she is my cousin and not my aunt. I think I was 12 when I realized she was not my Aunt Lita so I can understand his confusion. Aunt or cousin, she was the best of both. She will be greatly missed.
