Obituary of Gloria Jean (Clemons) Perkins

Gloria Jean (Clemons) Perkins, age 74 of South Fayette, went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2020. Gloria was born March 23, 1946. She was the retired owner of G and G Catering. She worked many years in the ministry with her husband, Pastor Gregory Perkins Sr. Gloria was a mentor and an encourager to many and a true woman of God. She lived and practiced what she preached. She truly loved God and held her family dear to her heart. Gloria was the beloved wife of Gregory Perkins Sr.; loving mother of Gregory Perkins Jr. (Sherry), Lisa Daugherty (Joseph), and the late Thelma Perkins and Samuel Perkins. Sister of Robert Clemons Sr, Margaret Brown, Betty Mickens, Willa Mae Triplett, Thelma Spells, Peter Clemons Jr., Janice Germany, Evelyn O’Kelly, LaVonne Richardson, and the late Lena Pippin. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being conducted privately, by Warchol Funeral Home, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
