Devastated to learn the passing of my cousin Stevie. We were very close growing up. All of the cousins were. Family baseball games after Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners (or just a Tuesday night), walking the tracks at Grandma's house while one of us spotted for trains, asking for money while our moms played cards so we could go to the corner store and get some candy, and my favorite - going swimming in his enormously large pool where we would create whirlpools and catch the stream as we floated around and around. As adults life got in the way, so it seems, and I went off and moved to Texas. Still, I always felt connected to him through social media and loved seeing his updates. Always brought a smile to my face.I regret not being able to see him one last time. It hurts. Bad. As much as the hurt engulfs me, I have to trust that Our Lord has bigger plans for my little cousin. Today I pray for comfort for Michelle, Aunt Niece, Brandy, Michael, and all of our family. I know that we will always feel his presence around us and will certainly see him again in the future.

Uncle Mike and Aunt Jan are heartbroken over the passing of our beautiful nephew. Stevie was a gift and blessing to us and our world will not be the same without him in it. We will remember him always for his generosity, unconditional love, kindness, and friendship. Aunt Jan and I are praying for peace and comfort over the family during this difficult time.

Leonard and I are so heart broken at hearing the passing of Stevie. We were blessed to get to spend time with him and Michelle over the past few years. Stevie was such a loving, giving and compassionate human being. This world has lost an amazing man. We are praying for peace and comfort over the family as they grieve.

Very sad to hear about Steve's passing. He and I grew up near each other on Valley Street and went to McDonald Elementary together. I'll always remember him as a kind, loving person who was fun to be around on summer days in the valley.

I was heart broken to hear of Steve's passing. He was a kind man, and very tolerant of my "unique" managing skills. He was a good boss. My heart goes out to his family and all his friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

Steve Bresnay, I was very shocked to hear the very sad news of your passing. I’ll always remember our times with bp. You were always such a hard worker and always found the good in everyone. You were funny...I could still hear that laugh when something cracked you up...lol. You had a love/hate relationship with your Pittsburgh sports teams...lol. You were a great friend, husband, Dad, and fur daddy. You will be sorely missed. I am sending thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

We were very sad to hear of Steve’s passing ... He & my husband D mark Westling were very well aquatinted through the years because of BP oil & Tri state oil . He was a caring person from what I knew of him & it was because of his generosity & a letter to BP that we were able to attend a fuel destination prize trip to Cozumel in his place because he was unable to go . We’ll will always and forever remember that kind gesture as we vacationed just prior to our FLORIDA relocation 14 years ago . He will be missed . Prayers for his family.
