Obituary of Donald F. Meassick

Age 86, of Kirwan Heights, Collier Twp., on April 18, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (Theakston) Meassick; loving father of Susan (Rick) Colaizzi, David (Rebecca) Meassick and Amy (George) Casper; longtime, loving companion of Darlene Kusluch; preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Lucy (Buttignoli) Meassick and his siblings Andrew Meassick, Jr. and Dolores Mancini; cherished grandfather of Brian (Sarah) Stierheim, Lauren (Ron) Folino, Alexander Casper, Andrew Casper, Genevieve Casper and Gabrielle Casper; and great grandfather of Dino Folino, Rook Folino, Saydee Stierheim, Will Stierheim, Sean Paige, Olivia Kusluch and Charlotte Kusluch. Donald was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. He retired from Equitable Gas Co. after 43 years. Donald loved to dance, play golf and had an interest in boating. He was a member of Dogwood Hills Men’s Senior League, Claysville, PA, the Jitterbug Club and the Steel City Boogie Club.
