Jerry was a friend to many. He also lived life on his terms and he owned it. I enjoyed talking to him over the last several years and we would always share a laugh about old times. There was often a reference to how we loved Grandma and how she gave so much over herself to her family. We would also end our conversation with, "I love you cousin." I will miss his laugh and his sense of humor. Rest in peace Jerry. Wishing you all the joys that only heaven can provide. .

Denny, Bobby and Amy... I am so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. As you know, growing up on "The Hill" created a special bond. Jerry and I were good friends and despite going our separate ways, we managed to keep in touch over the years. We shared a lot of mischief and laughs. He had an infectious laugh that he always seemed to share with others. He shared a birthday with my mother and never forgot to wish her well on their special day. I've got a lot of stories from our younger days that I will hold close in my memories.
Rest easy Jerry... Godspeed.

At one time Jerry and I grew very close, going hunting and talking. I would pick him up and drive and we would talk about the old days, family, and what the future would bring us. I never once heard him say anything bad about anyone, although he was having issues. As many young people it seemed he was fighting demons of his own and confided in me a lot. Then suddenly he stopped talking and he seemed to fall back into despair. We talked recently sometimes about our cancer battles and he once said to me that he wished he could handle it like I was. It touched my heart and pulled at me. I have dedicated my life fighting cancer as best I can for Jerry and all the loved ones we have lost. God bless his soul.
