Dave you will definitely be missed. Hell of a guy and mentor and really enjoyed working with and around him... never seen him without wearing a smile. Not a brother by trade but a UNION BROTHER I am happy to have met and worked with. Rip brother and condolences to the family

I met Dave when I first got here in Nov. 2018, he was my foreman. I took him under my wing since it was his first foreman job, which as Journeyman, that’s what we do, teach the younger generation to carry on. He was almost like a son since I’m old enough to be his father. It was a great experience and we worked hand in hand for almost 6 months till he left for the compressor site as a foreman! I was proud of him, he was very intelligent, care free, but he was a straight forward guy. I kept in touch then he came back and we were blessed with his presence again. I am deviated about this and am praying for all of you to find strength to move forward. I spoke with him on Wednesday before he left work and he had planned a guys night out Thursday at our favorite place MVP in Chester, since his last day was Wed, and mine was Thursday. We found out Thursday morning and at first we thought it was a sick joke but learned it was true. We all agreed we would still go that night to honor Dave cause that’s what he would have wanted! He was a great young man and will be sorely missed!

From potato gun building to beer drinking and a lot of laughs in the early days rest easy Dave and I’ll see you in the afterlife.

David was the first apprentice I had the pleasure of working with after I moved here from Washington DC. He had the passion to learn and eagerness to help that is sometimes lost on young men. David went out if his way to always be present and helpful not only on the job but off as well. He volunteered to help me move furniture into my new home after only knowing me for a brief time. I am damn proud to have called him my brother, David my life along with so many others was blessed and enriched having known you. Until we meet again Chip rest easy, you are missed!

I am a senior fitter now retired. David worked for me as a first year apprentice. He was just a baby. His personality enthusiasm and shit eating grin always made me smile. As a mentor to these grasshoppers you become attached as if they were your own children. As the years passed he became an asset to local 449 and a brother to all who new him. He was always respectful of his elders. His love for life and his fellow fitters was without question. I was as proud of David as I am of my own children.
So you will understand when I say I am numb and without understanding of such tragedies.
I worked my last job before I retired with David. He always went out of his way to say hello you old Fart. I am blessed for so many reasons. And a better person for having had the pleasure of his presence in my life. He is but a short distance away and always in my thoughts prayers and heart. Everytime I see a vette I will smile and no he is still calling me an old fart. All my heart and strength goes out to the ones left behind. For in this sadness nobody can understand your pain. Love you David and I will see you again.

Marion, I'm so shocked and saddened to hear that your baby boy has passed! I'm sitting here and remembering all the stories that you would tell me about him when we worked at Brunner. You and your/his family are in my thoughts and prayers. May you take comfort in the many memories that you have of David. God needed another Angel in Heaven and he called upon your son! Prayers for all the family!
With Deepest Sympathies,
Cliff and Susanne Baker

Dave one of the nicest and realest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He treated everyone with respect and even would act like this was a cool car when I knew it wasn't and so did everyone else. That's just the way he was never excluding anyone!! He will be missed by alot of people. Deepest condolences to his wife and family.
