Heidi (Bob Schnitzer's daughter; cousin to Grace) posted a condolence
Sunday, March 10, 2013
I was shocked to read of the loss of Grace as I was looking her up to see how she was doing. Grace and Harry were always kind and loving to us when we visited their home as children. Grace and my dad were first cousins (my dad's mom and Grace's mom were sisters). I remember when I was young seeing Susanne and everyone around the Finke house and had fun with you all and played chess.
Grace was a wonderful person and I sent her condolences after the loss of Harry and Margaret. She will truly be missed and had such a sweet and wonderful personality. Many thoughts and prayers for the entire Finke family. Love, Heidi

I met Grace at chemo a few months ago, we both were coming in on Fridays. We spent our time chatting and getting to know each other. She spoke so lovingly of her husband and family. The last time I saw her, she gave me a little, plastic SpongeBob. She had opened a box of cereal and when she saw it, she thought of me. It was a very sweet thing for her to do. It still sits on my kitchen window and when I look out and see it, it makes me smile. Grace was a lovely lady and a fighter. It was a privledge to have met her. Your family is in my prayers.

Grace and Harry were an extreme couple. They will surely be together again now. Our sympathy is truly expressed to their children. Harry and Chuck were first-cousins (and so much alike). In different states did not get together as much as we should have. They both will be missed deeply. Our prayers and thoughts are with you! Peggy Malone

Oh, Grace -- You best be saving that rocking chair right next to yours for me. Until then, I'm going to miss you so much. Bundles and bundles of love and prayers, pris
