Hey Dad, I know you are resting now but I miss talking to you and getting crazy long text messages from you! I'm always finding little typed notes from you that I kept over the years. You are missed by so many.

From Valencia, Spain I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolence. I worked for Mr. Morris from 1992-1995 in the summers when I was an Undergraduate Student at The Pennsylvania State University.I was a member of the Lawn Crew at that time. I met Mr. Morris through my mom JoAnne Nardei Biringer, they were friends at Chartiers Valley High School, Class of 1969. Mr. Morris was a hardworking man, very good and fair to his employees. Had a heart of gold. and that would often show with a breakfast for the Lawn Crew at The Gab and Eat. Also, the fact that he would let three 19 year olds take a truck, drive all over Mt. Lebanon, Carnegie, to cut lawns taught us responsibilty, and above al pay attention to details.
Moreover, Mr. Morris was also an alumnus of WVU, where I went to do my M.A. degree in Spanish. So that was always cool to think we had that special bond when we saw each other afterwards. Through the years I have often thought of Mr. Morris, and one of the lessons I try to get across to my students here at the college level is pay attention to details, which is something I learned while working for him.
Rest easy Mr. Morris, today here in Spain I will raise a glass of wine in your honor.

Jimmy was a very special person. He would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. Many times he had offered to pick up things from the store knowing it was difficult for me to get around. A funny note: he was my toilet paper connection.
One time he had added a gift of a chocolate bar but it was at the bottom of the bag and I didn't see it until weeks later when I needed the new supply! That's the kind of person Jimmy was. Such an easy person to talk to! I am so happy that his good friend, Margaret, introduced us. He will not be forgotten and will be in my prayers. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Jim is going to be greatly missed in the neighborhood! I grew used to seeing him almost every day either at my house, next door, or somewhere on Woodland. He was always working hard, but would take the time to say hello. He was a very generous and thoughtful man. The neighborhood will not be the same without him.

Mr. Morris was our contact along with Michael for our landscape. Mr. Morris was
ALWAYS the kindest and most helpful man we have had the pleasure to know, even his texts and messages were so friendly. He always spoke so highly of his hardworking son Michael and seemed so proud of him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We send our best wishes and prayers to his entire family. May his memory be a blessing at all times. May his family and friends always think of him and enjoy the precious memories because ALL of them will remain a blessing in the eyes of God for the kind work and good heart Mr. Morris shared during his life on earth.
He was a genuine gentleman that we respected and we feel so honored to have known him. Rest in peace and may God bless your family. The Schall Family

Jimmy was the life of the party at our house the last few years. Get togethers and the world will be much quieter without his stories. He will be missed. With caring sympathy, Lindsay and Brent

Jimmy had the kindest of hearts and a most generous spirit, the gift of gab and the ability to bring smiles to the faces of friends and strangers alike. I will be forever grateful for his presence in my mom's life and mine. May his light shine upon all who loved him.
