Obituary of Robert John Robison

Robison Robert “Rob” John Age 62, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Erie, surrounded by his loving family on June 9, 2014, after a short illness. Son of the late Robert J. and Mary Ann (Kreidinger) Robison. Beloved husband for 34 years of Patricia (DeAngelo) Robison, loving father of Jenny (JB) Wright of Concord, NC and Katie Robison of Pittsburgh, brother of Nancy Schaaf of Daytona, FL and Richard “Rick” Robison of Deerfield Beach, FL, brother-in-law of Dennis and Linda Galloway of Canonsburg and Mark and Debbie DeAngelo of Erie, uncle of Jody Galloway and Lori (Chris) Yaw, also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Rob was a 1969 graduate of Cathedral Preparatory School and a 1974 graduate of Gannon University. He was a sales representative for Wang Laboratories and Director of Marketing for Hamot Medical Center while living in Erie. After moving to Pittsburgh he worked as a Financial Consultant, specializing in senior retirement needs. An avid golfer and longtime member of Diamond Run Golf Club, where he scored his first hole-in-one in September, 2013. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Bellvue Council, Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Clair – Bethel Park Morning Rotary Club, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow. An avid dog lover, he and his goldendoodle, Lacey, are members of Therapy Dogs International and visited many area nursing homes and the Ronald McDonald House. Rob was a wonderful husband, father and brother. He had a great sense of humor and was always ready to help others. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends received Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:30 AM, in St. Louise de Marillac Church, Upper St. Clair (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Family Hospice, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
