Chris would often come to California to visit his daughter and grandchildren in Folsom. During his visits, my family had the great fortune of visiting with Chris and he was always so gracious and kind. Chris was loved by his family and friends and he improved the lives of all he came in contact with. He lived a great fulfilling life. Pat, Sandy and Erin Finnegan

Mr. Columbus was our dear neighbor and a loving friend. He was an amazing example of the kind of person every one of us should strive to become. Always doing for others and for his community.
I'll always treasure the memories of our impromptu cookouts and campfires in the back yard. Our son Christopher also benefited from having Mr. Columbus be a part of his life. I remember when he shortened one of his golf clubs so he could teach Christopher to putt in the back yard. He was always so generous with his time.
Our condolences to his family of which he was so very proud. We pray that God will grant you comfort and strength.
With love and prayers,
Chris & Bridgette Keys

I have many happy memories of both Chris and Mary attending every important event in my younger years and I always enjoyed family gatherings at home and theirs.
One of my most cherished pictures is of them holdig me at my christening ( when I was one month old).
One Christmas they had a debate about whether my gift should be a pretty sweater (Mary) or a dictionary (Chris).
I still have that dictionary!!!!!!!
with love and condolences,
Patricia McEvoy
