Obituary of Raymond A. Stubna

On Sunday, January 19, 2014, of South Fayette, following a short illness. Son of Ferdinand and Sarah (Darnley) Stubna; beloved husband of Sarah (Bright) and beloved father of Barbara (David) James and Elizabeth Larimer; cherished grandfather of Christopher, Joshua and Joel James. He is also survived by siblings Thomas (Linda), Ronald (Regina) Sandra Kuberek and Terry (Debra) Stubna, as well as many nieces and nephews. He worked for many years for both Russell Industries and for Mosites Construction Co. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed photography and sketching, as well as collecting and repairing clocks. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Barbara’s Parish, 45 Prestley Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Scott Conservancy, www.scottconservancy.org .
