Diana, Michelle, Catherine, David, and Bobby,
I was devistated when I heard about Danny, but it was nice to read that his final hours were spent surrounded by his family.
I have so many good memories of the "old days" in Star City in our little Herman Avenue neighborhood. It's still very vivid in my mind of those summer days in years gone by playing baseball at Sellaro Field with Danny, Ray, the Perry boys, and others. My mom and I still talk about all of the times when the neighborhood kids got together to play wiffle ball across the street in Anderson's Field; those were good days.
While saddened that Danny is no longer here, the thought that he has rejoined his mom and dad makes me feel better. And I smile when I think that he and Ray are once again back on the baseball field in pick-up game.
