Edwin Constant
Age 68, of Canonsburg, on July 26, 2013, in the Center for Compassionate Care, Mt. Lebanon, after a brief courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 12, 1944, in Cuddy, PA. A son of Anthony Martin and Anna Rose (Papaeka) Magdich. On May 25, 1968, he married Donna "MaryDonna" (Pietroboni) Magdich, who survives. Mr. Magdich was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Washington American Legion, Post #0897. He was currently employed at Loutsion"s Catering and formerly employed at Analytical Services, Inc., Ross Industries, formerly Penn Mould, McGraw Edison and Cellone"s Bakery, as a driver. He served as Boy Scout Assistant Troop Leader and coached Canonsburg youth soccer. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and had a strong work ethic in whatever he did. He was adored by his grandchildren and people loved him. Surviving along with his wife, are three children; Maryanne (August) Pape, of Huntersville, N.C., Christine (Don) Kaecher, of Baldwin and Edwin "Tyke" (Susan) Magdich, of Bentonville, AR, twelve grandchildren; Annie, Abbie and Allie Pape, Hannah Gray, Donovan Kaecher, Ethan, Noah, Caleb, Joshua, Jonah, Micah and Hope Magdich, a brother; Anthony Magdich. Decesaed is a brother; Dennis Magdich and a sister; Bernadette Williams. Friends received Sunday, 7-9 PM and Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 AM, in St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg. Interment to follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, with full military honors.
