Obituary of Helene Rellich
Age 84, of Bridgeville, on Sunday, June 30th, passed peacefully at her home. Born January 5, 1929, she was the youngest child of Michael and Sophie Zura. She was a graduate of South Fayette Township High School and the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. Her long time career as a beautician spanned many years at the Touch of Class Beauty Salon in Mt. Lebanon and she retired from there. She also volunteered for many years at St. Clair Hospital and was a caregiver to a very close friend. A lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Helene also enthusiastically followed local sporting events. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing the lottery.
Helene married Morse Rellich on June 28, 1952, and they resided in Bridgeville until his death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Peter Zura and Andrew Zura, and sisters Anna Klinger, Rose M. Bessemer, Marie Cole, Lillian Lehman and Sophie Nadeja. She is survived by her sister, Judy Watson, numerous nieces and nephews along with many friends. She will be missed by all, particularly by her niece, Lynn Cherry, who became her primary caregiver in her later years.
